SAF Health Portal is a platform that helps the community fight crime / violence against women and children. Through the different experiences, one can testify and share their story on the platform to seek justice, advice and also get helped by a team of professionals.
The prevalence of sexual violence in the work place and in institutions of education as seen in the recent media reports is deeply disturbing. It calls for a long-overdue reflection on the social and institutional structures that promote these acts, as well as on our own actions.

Gender based violence survivors

Rapists are protected and no one is held accountable. It is important to note that more than two thirds of survivors of sexual violence are raped by people they know and more than a third of women who are intentionally killed are murdered by a current or former intimate partner.
The psychological impact of abuse continues even after the act itself has stopped.
In addition, unintended and unwanted pregnancy, abortion and unsafe abortion, sexually transmitted infections including HIV, pregnancy complications, sexual dysfunction, long term psychological and mental health challenges are all possible side effects of abuse.
